Why this web design agency exists

66sites was assembled around that gap. We are a web design agency that also owns development, care and search work so the backlog has one accountable partner. The commercial shape of that is website as a service: a professional site plus the operating work, billed as a yearly plan instead of a large project and a pile of retainers.

We do not publish a founding-year myth, an award wall we did not earn, or a client-count badge. Those details are easy to invent and hard to verify. What we will tell you is how we work, what we refuse, and how to decide if we fit.

What we believe a website is for

A business website should help a stranger understand the offer, believe you can deliver it, and complete an inquiry without hunting. It should stay editable by the people who own the words. It should stay updateable without a weekend emergency. If it also ranks for useful queries, that is because the pages deserved to — not because we bought a package labeled “guaranteed first page.”

That belief shows up in the services we sell and the ones we do not. We design and build. We maintain WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify when they are the right stack. We do technical, on-page and local SEO that can be implemented on the same templates. We do not sell fabricated reviews, doorway city farms, or AI-content mills.

How we work

1. Discover — goals, audience, constraints, current analytics, and who will approve copy.
2. Recommend — platform, information architecture, plan tier and a written risk list (migration, content, legal).
3. Build — design and development with SEO, performance and editor experience as requirements, not polish.
4. Launch — QA, redirects, analytics, Search Console, access documentation.
5. Operate — updates, security, content hours, SEO tasks and conversion fixes on a cadence.

You can read the commercial packaging on pricing: Starter $199/year, Growth $299/year, Pro $399/year, and custom Enterprise. Complex redesigns and migrations can still include a setup fee, disclosed before kickoff. Ownership of deliverables you pay for stays with you, subject to the agreement.

Who we are a fit for

Service businesses, professional firms and growing catalogs that need a site someone will still maintain in November. Teams that want a web design agency to tell them the lightest stack that works — see platforms — instead of the trendiest one. Operators who will share constraints: budget, service area, integrations, and what a lead is worth.

We are a weaker fit if you only want a one-week visual refresh with no owner afterward, if you need a large custom application without scoping it as Enterprise, or if you want ranking promises in the contract. We will say no rather than stretch a Starter plan around a problem it cannot hold.
